Senior Dance Classes for
Ages 15–18 near Canterbury
This is your time to decide what dance means to you. Build stronger technique, explore the styles you love, perform, challenge yourself and discover where your training could take you.

You're old enough to know what you enjoy. Now you can decide how far you want to take it.
At 15 to 18, dance becomes much more personal. You might want somewhere to train hard, perform and challenge yourself. You might be thinking about further training or a future in performing arts. Or you may simply want to keep dancing because it is something you genuinely love.
AIM gives Senior dancers the space to make those choices for themselves, with structured teaching, clear progression and a supportive community around them.
There is more than one reason to keep dancing.
Senior students arrive with different ambitions. AIM gives each dancer room to find the level of training, performance and commitment that feels right for them.

Control, placement, strength and increasingly advanced technique.
Experience across different styles and performance disciplines.
Experience working in front of audiences and under performance conditions.
Learning choreography, adapting, performing and responding to direction.
Commitment, preparation, reliability and ensemble work.
Focused coaching where appropriate to the student's pathway.
Their decision. Your reassurance.
At this age your teenager has a much bigger say in where, how and why they want to dance. Parents, however, still need to know that the training, commitment and cost make sense.
AIM keeps the practical side clear while giving students more ownership of their own dance journey.
Clear progression with experienced, qualified teachers.
A professional training environment at AIM Studios.
Weekly classes through to competition pathways.
Recreational training or preparation for further study.
Opportunities to perform beyond weekly classes.
Challenge, community and enjoyment can exist together.
Find the right starting point.
Senior dancers do not all arrive with the same experience. Tell us what you are interested in, what you have danced before and what you would like to get from your training.
Our team can recommend the class and level that makes the most sense before you begin your trial.
Not sure which class is right?
Tell us the student's age, previous dance experience and what they are interested in. Our team can recommend the best Senior class and explain the next step.
