Two ways to explore movement
Which class will they try first?
Choose preschool ballet, preschool acro or try both. The classes run one after the other on Saturday mornings, making it easy to explore the two activities.
Music, imagination and ballet
Budding Ballerinas
A gentle introduction to ballet through music, games and imaginative movement. Children explore simple ballet movements while becoming familiar with a teacher, a class routine and dancing alongside others.

Preschool Acro
An early introduction to acrobatic movement for children aged 3 to 4, taught by EJ. If you are considering acro for the first time, the two-week trial gives your child time to experience the class and meet their teacher.

Starting a new class is a big step for a small child. Our experienced teachers help children get to know the group, with a buddy system to make those first weeks feel more familiar.
- Friendly faces: support from their teacher and a buddy as they settle into the class.
- Room to settle: if your child needs you nearby initially, we can discuss a short settling-in arrangement.
- Growing independence: children normally attend independently, with parents gradually stepping out of the classroom.
Parents do not remain in the classroom throughout ongoing lessons. If you are worried about how your child will settle, tell us when you enquire so we can discuss their needs together.
Your first two weeks
An easy way to get started
Our paid trial gives your child the opportunity to meet their teacher and experience the class before you decide whether to enrol.
Tell us about your child
Enquire with their age and the class you would like to try. Mention any settling-in questions or support they may need.
Arrange your trial
Our admin team will confirm availability, your two Saturday trial dates and payment details. It is £20 for one class or £40 for both.
Decide together
After the trial, speak to us about continuing. Joining AIM involves monthly tuition and a one-off £39 enrolment fee per child.
How your monthly payment works
One weekly class, one total monthly payment. The monthly fee depends on how long each lesson lasts:
- Preschool Acro: £21.50 per month in total for a 45-minute class each week during teaching weeks.
- Budding Ballerinas: £26.50 per month in total for a 60-minute class each week during teaching weeks.
For example, in a month with four scheduled teaching weeks, your child attends four Preschool Acro lessons and your monthly payment is £21.50 in total. For four Budding Ballerinas lessons, your monthly payment is £26.50 in total. These are monthly fees, not prices per lesson.
There are 39 teaching weeks across the academic year, with the annual tuition cost spread across 12 equal monthly direct debit payments. The number of lessons varies with the calendar and term dates, but your monthly payment stays the same, including during school holidays.

A few things you may be wondering
Can my child join without dance experience?
Yes. These preschool classes introduce children aged 3 to 4 to ballet or acro. Let us know if it is your child's first class so we can help you prepare and talk through any questions.
Can I stay while my child settles in?
Children normally attend independently. If your child needs some extra support at first, a parent can stay temporarily during an agreed settling-in period. Our teachers and buddy system help children become comfortable attending without a parent in the classroom.
How much is the two-week trial?
The two-week paid trial is £20 per class. Trying both Budding Ballerinas and Preschool Acro costs £40 in total for the two weeks.
Is there an enrolment fee?
Yes. There is a one-off £39 enrolment fee per child when joining AIM, separate from trial fees and monthly tuition.
Can my child attend both classes on Saturday?
Yes, subject to availability. Budding Ballerinas runs from 9:00am to 10:00am, followed by Preschool Acro from 10:00am to 10:45am. Tell the admin team you would like to try both.
What should my child wear for their trial?
Comfortable clothing that allows easy movement is a good starting point. You do not need to purchase uniform before the trial. Our admin team will confirm suitable footwear and any class-specific requirements before your first visit.

Both classes take place at AIM Studios, Intex House, Cooting Road, Aylesham, CT3 3EP, near Canterbury in Kent.
What happens when my child is ready for the next stage?
Speak to their teacher about the most suitable next class for their age and readiness. You can also explore our Minis classes for ages 4 to 6.
